Notification enhancements
External recipients (in V8.5.1+)
Notifications can be sent to any email address, even if the recipient does not have a Salient account.
- Use caution when sending notifications that could contain sensitive information because external messages are not filtered based on individual user account rights.
- This capability requires a special permission and can, therefore, be enabled/disabled per user group.
Multi Comparative notifications (in V8.5.1+)
You can send notifications based on Multi Comparative widgets to report multiple date ranges and/or subsets of data within a single message.
“All” benchmarks
(in V8.5.1+)
You can compare performance of whatever is selected to the total (i.e., All) in benchmark widgets. For example, how is any sales representative doing compared with the total of all sales representatives? This new feature adds to existing benchmark options, which include “All Others” and custom cohorts.
Simplified settings in explore mode
(in V8.5.1+)
The following settings have been removed from the General Settings area of explore mode because they are related to dashboard design and management rather than data investigation: Hidden; Show in Mobile; Hide for Phone; and Enable Export.
